This Privacy Policy explains how Philadelphia Legacies ("Philadelphia Legacies," "PL," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to philadelphialegacy.org (the "Site") and from people who buy tickets, make donations, sign up for updates, or otherwise interact with our programs online.

Philadelphia Legacies is a nonprofit program fiscally sponsored by CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia. Where this policy says "we," that includes CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia acting in that capacity where relevant — for example, in processing and receipting tax-deductible donations.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you don't agree with these practices, please don't use the Site.

Information you give us directly:

• Contact form. When you use the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and whatever message you send us.
• Ticket purchases. When you buy tickets to the Portrait & Community Awards Gala or other events, we (or our ticketing provider) collect the information needed to process your order, such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment details.
• Donations. When you donate through the Site, payment is handled by PayPal. We receive your name, email address, and donation amount from PayPal; we do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
• Sponsorships and advertising inquiries. If you contact us about sponsoring or advertising, we collect the information you provide in that inquiry.

Information collected automatically:

• Standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies & Tracking Technologies" below).

If Philadelphia Legacies' relationship with its fiscal sponsor or another organizational structure changes, we will update this policy to reflect it.

We keep donor and ticket-purchase records for as long as needed to meet our financial, tax, and grant-reporting obligations as a fiscally sponsored nonprofit. We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry.

You can:

• Opt out of emails from us at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly
• Ask what information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the information below

We will respond to reasonable requests in a timely manner. Some information — such as donation records needed for tax purposes — may need to be retained even after a deletion request, as required by law.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payment information is handled by PayPal and our ticketing provider rather than stored directly on the Site. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
